Huckleberries beat the St. Paul Saints 8 to 5.
Tombstone came up with 5 runs in the 4th inning with the help of 5 hits. The
critical plate appearance was by Magglio Ordonez who helped quiet the crowd
when he doubled which was good for two runs. St. Paul threatened in the 9th
but Tombstone was able to put down the rally.
Roy Halladay(12-2) got the win allowing 4 runs in 7 innings. Halladay got
relief help from Chad Qualls who gained credit for his 1st save. Paul
Byrd(0-1) was the loser. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 6 runs
in 3 and 2/3 innings.
